Thermal Protection on Receptor?

Hi, Just wondering if there is any thermal protection on the Receptor. Some of the places I play are quite hot, especially where it involves a lot of lighting, and I wonder if there is any protection if the temperature goes high? Also when it says High on Receptor, is that at a dangerous level over a prolonged period, or is the high level actually not high enough to damage anything? I say that because I'v had to rethink the case it's in. It's felt lined 2U one of those Gator rack bags, and the felt is just absorbing the fan heat and not dispersing it away, plus it only 6 inches from a wall and in a small room. Once or twice it's flickered onto high, so im taking it out and putting it into an ABS 3U to let it breathe.

Interested to know though.

Get a 4-Space rack ~ leave 1 space above and one space below.
I had to do it ~ It works great.

Yes I'v done that now :) But I want to know about the whole temperature thing. Surely when it comes up high this is'nt set at meltdown temperature and it is a safe high with some way after before it can damage the unit. I would really love to think it had thermal protection on it which shut it down. I'd rather it went off mid gig than not have it burnt out.
