little gui flaw in Zebra2?

Hi Urs,

first the obvious - Zebra2 is a great synth!

I noticed a little flaw(?) in the gui (AU with Logic Pro 7.1.1 on MacOS X 10.4.4). It is very nice that one can move around with the arrow keys in the preset browser. However, if I move the focus out of the plugin window, e.g. go to the arrange and select a different track and then go back to Z2 the arrow keys are still acting on the arrange window and I can't get them to change anything in the preset browser. I have to change plugin and and reinstantiate Zebra2 to get this back. Is this something in Logic or can you do something about it in Zebra? It would be one of these nice details that makes it perfect ;-)

Another thing - I noticed that some presets (actually too many of those nice presets) are demanding on my CPU (I have a poor AlBook 1.6GHz with a RME multiface), such that I get artifacts in the sound if I play moderately fast just one voice of Zebra2. Is this expected, or do I have some other problem? If this is normal, do you expect potential CPU load improvements? I am able to play other CPU intensive plugins (like some Reaktor stuff or Cameleon 5000) more smoothly.

The best thing peitz is to lower the voices parameter on the global tab to "few". I'm like you, running it on a Powerbook here, and some patches, including my own are fairly heavy. If you are using multiple comb oscillators, FM, 3 oscillators, 3 filters and tons of mod options and lashing of ginge. er, reverb - well, it's always gonna be fairly heavy.

But not all patches are this complex though.

I might have found an other an other small GUI bug on OSX (AU in Logic 7.1 and Rax)..
or is it a feature? :)

with some presets, when you're on a 'more osc x' pane it shows the previous osc waveform as well, but all slightly wrong
