yes i understand this perfectly and appreciate ur expalantion, it makes sense. i am telling you though that in my Cubase SX2 before I upgraded, Glueing audio events together would turn it not just to one part but also into one event. I am not joking! Anywayz, im ok with bouncing so ya no need to discuss this anymore.

To be it honest, it still seems like a bug to me. After glueing events in a container it seems unreasonable that you can't put a master fade on the container. Infact I can hardly think of an occasion when you'd want to apply a fade to all the events individualy.
Not the biggest deal in the world but frustrating to have to bounce just to put a fade in.

hehe, yeah, but I've used the terms "part" and "event" just the other way round. So the truth must be somewhere in betweenRozzer wrote: EDIT: sorry, just realised that bleebsen beat me to this explanation

Yeah, I agree there. It's not a huge issue, but I would imagine one or two of the other hosts can do it. I suppose the down-side is those other hosts will lack a feature that Cubase does have. Not the biggest deal in the world but frustrating to have to bounce just to put a fade in.
It's not an unreasonable wish to have global part parameters though.

Do us a favor and get yourself neutered, moron.
