previous patch still there on different selection?

Quick question. Why is it when I'v been on a multi patch, when I go over to a single, the instruments of the multi are still there?

If you are the leader of a band and you don't like the bass player, you replace him with another bass player, you do not fire the drummer and the guitar player. Multis are like a band, singles are like individual members of a band. If you want just one player, you fire the entire band, then hire the one player. If you want just one instrument in Receptor, you load a blank multi patch, then load a single.
