well even in a music world were your looking for more power and performance , im running cubase sx 3 on a P4 3.2 and i can run as many plugins as i like because of a little gem called 'Freeze function' its a vastly overlooked function which i simply could work without.
at the end of the day you can only edit one track at a time and it only takes seconds to freeze/unfreeze a track.

freeze is a very handy tool yes. Im not trying to suggest anything inferior about other hosts, I was mainly just mentioning sonar as a way to explain that 64 bit does show promise.

Im going to wait a very long time before I head for 64bit. Its still in the early stages. But I might upgrade my CPU. Crazy it seems soon as its out somebody has already got it. Tracktion has freeze too you know.

Thats the thing how many bits would it take to get Odo's plug down from 8% to say 1%? What Im say is how much power would you need for a substancial difference? Would I need a new computer? Would it be bigger in physical size?
Anyway, great plugs Odo.

Try VLC as your player, it uses its own codecs.odo wrote:WINX64 is fun but i can`t watch movies

(always good to have it as an additional player, for troubleshooting purposes)
