hmmm, the knobs ARE labeled, what am I talking about?

maybe the pan ones?
You are right.
Will do that later, I thought it was clear that they are pan...
whatever, but I wonder what EXACTLY the randomize knob does. does it randomize pitch change? Or timing... or both? If both, it would be nice to have a knob for each.
There is a lot of fine random going on behind the gui.
Sorry, I dont remember what I did exactly back then.
also, is there a way to know if the vibrato section is completely turned off?
Fader all the way down=off.

Maybe you're right  but I am still very happy with it...too bad it can't fix timing issues.

I will be the first to admit that the following is more than just AVOX..in fact the differences are Voxformer, Throat, Auto-tune and reverb...however both are from the exact same MONO track recorded 2 1/2 years ago, this is part of the song I wrote when my sister died...Throat is what splits the track, throat is what cleans up the timbre of my voice...just throat no other AVOX pluggins and both are very quicky mixes...but both come from one mono track and one that is old.

I doubt you will ever hear more of this song because of some timing issues and what the song means too me, but I'm sorry if you can't see that this gives me the confidence to do more. The fact that this track is a while ago (since I've taken a new approach to recording vocals monitor dry, and harmonize to a score track) and I surely have improved. I know that future vox projects will be sweet...it's all a matter of taste I guess. But in all honesty I feel I wasted more money (180 bux I think) upgrading to Sonar 5...that I might rethink...AVOX is a valuable tool for me...:)

heres the thing... I got an email from antares asking me about my problems with AVOX and I responded, and they still havent fixed them. I think the problem only happens on certain machines, but nonetheless it happens on mine, so it is unusable for me. Unless you think that first mp3 I posted is acceptable. I certainly dont.

Im glad it works for you, cause its a great suite, from the looks of it.

But my scoreboard reads differently.

you know, I think melodyne can fix timing issues... not automatically, but i think when you move notes around it moves others in a way so as to preserve the overall rythym of things.. I dunno, I cant explain it, but there are tools in melodyne for timing repair.

well I'm quite realistic about things...no one pluggin is going to solve my singing issues and it takes the right combo...throat is the best of the pluggins, but it really takes fine tuning and patience...and of course voxformer is a must as well...:)

possibly, but I need to put this song behind me now...I wish I was better set up for vox now because I have another song that I used it one and I need to redo a few parts because I used sonar instead of AA and lost my layers :x But who knows where I'll be hanging my hat this summer, anyway if I move I will have a room...;)

thanx, I applied (not realtime) auto-tune, then throat and mixed it down (realtime) with the song through voxformer and sonar's reverb...:)
