I'm kinda new at this program- I have a two bar drum clip that I want to extend to the end of the song. Its a pain to right click on the clip, copy, paste after selected clip etc....each and every time. I know there is a way to do this quickly, but can't find it in the manual? Help!

is it an audio or MIDI clip ???

... if its audio just select the clip and hit the LOOP THIS CLIP button in the properties panel ... after this you can just drag the looped clip out to whatever length ...

... if its MIDI theres (sadly) no alternative to copy / paste ... although the way i do it is use ctrl-click-drag to get my second copy ... alt-lassoo to select those ... ctrl-click-drag to get four copies ... alt-lassoo to select all those ... and so on ... doesnt take long (maybe 30 seconds) to loop a MIDI clip out to 3 minutes or so ...

(i agree though ... the ability to loop MIDI clips like we can audio is LONG overdue)

Indeed. I almost never use the "loop this clip" button (even when repeating a clip) since CTRL+C followed by CTRL+V works so easily and intuitively. Since I almost never repeat anything more than twice, it's actually MORE work to "loop" the clip than not.

Actually an even easier way is to just hold down control-V. It'll create new clips until you let go. :D
