Can you step through fixing a snare hit for me?

Hi,

I have 8 drum tracks, (kick, snare, overheads, room, etc).

Can someone please step through the process of cutting out and pasting in a snare hit that spans the multiple tracks?

Yeah, I know sorry! I'm quite ignorant about video codecs though, and only have SoundForge to compress the video after capture.. can you reccomend a non-MS codec that will get the file that small?

exactly, but for those who can't see the movie, I'll attempt to explain.

1. With all drum tracks selected, cut out the good hit with the / key.
2. Select good hit clips from all drum tracks and copy.
3. Select all drum tracks/clips containing the bad hit and cut just in front of the bad hit.
4. Now select all tracks/clips with the bad hit and slide the beginning of the clips back so that the bad hit is gone.
5. Paste the good-hit clips into the gap.
6. Cross-fade to taste.

That prolly sounds a bit wonky. IIRs's movie does perfectly demonstrate this...
