i'm mixing an album, got the drums good enough on one song to want to use that as a template/starting point on the other songs. by template i essentially mean the filter setup of the edit. can I just copy the edit to another project and replace the audio clips?
Spend more money on the mixing!

Sure, you could just copy the folder (without audio files), rename the folder and the .tracktion file.

After you open the new project, select all the clips and delete them leaving the filters intact, you might want to save a copy of the folder again while the project is in that state to save time on future songs...

[sorry, jplanet beat me to it, but here's how I'd do it:]

Make sure to use "save as" and give it a unique new edit name. Once you've used "save as", I'd delete the audio while it's still in the current project. "Save" again to save your changes.

Then make your new project (it will start off with a "new edit #1" clip, but you can delete that. Drag and drop your "template" edit from its project directory (via Windows Explorer) into your Tracktion project tab, and you should be set.
