Tracktion -> webcast?

Afternoon all,
Is there such a thing as a VST -> Shoutcast bridge? The reason I ask is I spend quite a lot of time chatting online with a collaborator (Skype) and I'd like to play musical snippets to him from within tracktion rather than rendering out and transferring a file. Setting up a local shoutcast server and pointing tracktion to it would appear to be a good solution but shoutcast relies heavily on WinAmp as the front end. Alternatively, how about plumbing into the Skype audio?
(and before anyone jumps in, I'm aware of VSTunnel, but I don't want him to have to fire up a host at the other end to listen)
Any ideas?
Thanks
Gareth

Maybe this will do the trick, it's a VST->Winamp bridge to control Winamp from any VST host:

Hi jplanet,
http://dmi.smartelectronix.com/2005/07/ ... -live.html
that someone else is looking for the same thing I am:
Looks like that just controls the winamp transport, there's no audio pathway between the two. I see from the comments against the release:jplanet wrote:Maybe this will do the trick, it's a VST->Winamp bridge to control Winamp from any VST host:

I don't suppose you could make a little plug to output sound from a vst host to winamps input for shoutcast purposes..?

Interesting topic... my new thing is live concert webcasting and I would love a way to be able to record and broadcast at the same time without running a standalone recording unit off the analog outs of my ONYX. I can't get the lappy to do all that yet though.
Unless I strip the crap out of xp I get bleeps and blips in my recording so I'm affraid to reintroduce any unnecessary xp features (like networking/internet stuff)into my DAW that I use for recording. (HP lappy's suck for recording audio...)
However, that being said, I think the shoutcast plugin I use in winamp would work fine during playback through t2... Whatever goes to the soundcard goes to the plugin and out to the world. I'll try it tomorrow and see if I can get it to work from the desktop pc... I never record on that... only mix there so it isn't tweaked out like my lappy.
Either way you could definately do it with a 2nd computer... doesn't take much of a machine to spit an mp3 over the internet. Just out of one soundcard into another and you would be golden.

This can be done with shoutcast no problem.
It wouldn't work with my installed soundcard but that is nothing special and not a specific recording soundcard. With my onyx mixer in use as the soundcard, I can rount the firewire feed from the computer back into the live mix (assumably this is how you would send info back to musicians while overdubbing although I just do live event stuff so I don't really know), and when I routed back into my main mix it comes through to winamp when setting the winamp/shoutcast plugin to "soundcard input" which is how I do live webcasting.
If anyone wants to check it out I will leave it running for awhile. Just click this link and if you have winamp, foobar or itunes it should just pop up. If nothing happens go to www.winamp.com and d/l the latest winamp. Then after it is loaded it will automatically start the stream after clicking the link. http://www.tapers.org:9993/listen.pls
This is The Peter Rowan and Tony Rice Quartet from last July if anyone cares. I'll let it loop for awhile.
