Incidentally, when Tracktion 1.0 was released, we had a journalist ask lots of questions about it for a well-known computer music magazine and one question was "Where did Tracktion get its name from?"

We told them it was an acronym for "Tape Replacement And Computer Keyboard Tone Input/Output Numerator" and they seemed happy with that...

...we also told the same journalist that in Japan it was to be marketed under the more-popular name of "Lucky Sequencer Boy" and they fell for that one too.
