Yup. Except, of course, that making the file smaller doesn't give you any more bandwidth

So even if I didnt state it 100"% correctly, I'm sure you understand my point
So like if there were a package that was only 2.2meg, which was just the app for those of use who want only that, it would in essence "free up" the bandwith for those that wanted the examples
I'm also so happy that after waiting for 45 min, that the sever disconnected me.

Maybe so, but it's not rocket science to produce a second file without the bloody examples. I'm getting really pissed off at having to download, install and then delete them all.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Mackie - can you do something about this extremely annoying thing?

[NB: I see my d/l is running at a blistering 310 kb - which is just about the fastest my wireless link will go. Maybe you guys should try at a different time, when the server load is lighter

I used a download manager(GetRight) that opened 4 connections. The whole thing took about 10 min to download.
Way to go with the upgrades. I've probably sold several copies of Tracktion by showing all my music buddies how cool it is.

Let me also add to the general dismay at the Mackie server capacity.

And haven't you guys heard of patching? Check out Wise Studio - it's like $1000. You can afford it.

Thank you Mackie and Raw Materials, I have never spent a better dollar. You guys are absolutely tops. I hear the big guys talk a lot and they are saying what sense does it make to pay 1000. to 5000. for something that doesn't work as good! I love it. It reminds me of the real old days of analog when next year with real scrimping you could get an 8 maybe a 16 but when next year rolled around, it was totally out of reach again. Thank you so much. I'm beta testing a product now which is a great value, already announced and just beautiful but....$

MACKIE you're the only company in the bloody world that refuses to give their installers sensible names. I have already a dozen of TracktionSetup.exe files, this gets rather annoying!

download ... click on installer ... hit f2 ... type T2___2-0-1-11.exe or somesuch ... hit return ...

(unless youre on a mac obviously)

... but yeah youre right ... it wouldnt hurt to have SOME indication on the installer as to which version it is ...

Sorry to say, but with my new (german) version now the REWIND works also as FORWARD which seems to be 1 new Bug to the list.....
