Any Logic Pro 7 users running Receptors on their system? I'm in the process of switching over from PT to Logic Pro 7 and would like to know if it's possible to run a few Nodes (extra computers, a Logic term) and also Receptors on the same system....?
Any observations or experiences are appreciated.....

The AU version of UniWire will be available soon. Preliminary testing shows that it works fine, but we need more testing before we can completely assess how well it performs.

I've been trying to use Logic Pro 7.2 with my newly purchased Receptor. (Dan's given me some help with this in another thread)
I think you may run into some issues running Logic's distributed processing and Uniwire..... I use Midiover Lan to communicate with my Giga PC and Uniwire has been unstable on my system in this configuration. I'm going to buy a Gigabyte ethernet card and run Uniwire over that and see if that will solve it.
I also have an issue I'm working on with my Baby HUI that I use with Logic. It's sometimes caused my Receptor to go into fits of restarting when the HUI's been in use at the sametime. It is related as the receptor has never shown any similar issues when the HUI's been off. I guess I'll need to make sure that the HUI's communication thru midi doesn't get into the uniwire connection when I record enable an Instrument track in Logic....
I'm certain all this stuff is solvable.... I've only had my receptor since friday lol

Yes. I graduated from the Bucharest Music Conservatory in 1979. I left Romania in 1982.OMU wrote:Dan Timis...
That seems like a Romanian name. Are you from Romania, Dan?
All the best.

That's great, as you don't meet many Romanians around here. It's cool to know that a romanian engineer (and musician) is involved in working on such a new and exciting product like the Receptor.
I graduated the cons in Cluj and living now in Bucuresti.
Nice to "meet" you, Dan.
Mult succes!
