Hi Folks,
Got my Receptor on friday. Really loving it. Only fly in the ointment is that I can't seem to get sound when running the VST uniwire plugin modified into an AU by the FXpansion wrapper (Midi gets there..no audio returns..as yet in my tests anyway) has anyone found different? Muse guys.. can you give me even a rough ETA for the (beta would be fine) release of the AU plugin please?
Also my Baby HUI seems to be causing the receptor problems within logic. The HUI polls the midi ports to maintain communication with Logic and this constant 'pulsing' seems to throw my receptor into fits of restarting.... I'll look into this further when I have time.
thanx in advance.
Al.

We cannot give you an exact ETA for the UniWire AU beta, but it should be soon. We are testing a candidate for beta release.
In the mean time you can try one of these tricks:
1. Set your I/O buffer size at 512 and the Processing buffer size at small, or set the I/O buffer size at 1024 and the Processing buffer size at medium.
2. After each UniWire plug-in insert an "I/0" effect that you can find in Logic>Helper Make sure you select "1-2" in the input and output fields.
UniWire requires that the I/O buffer size and the Processing buffer size are the same. You can either set them to be the same as described in option 1, or you can force a track to run processing at the same buffer size as the I/O size with the "I/O" plug-in.
With the current version of UniWire you may not be able to run more than 1 UniWire instance with Logic. In the upcoming AU beta version this problem has been fixed.

Many thanks Dan. I'll give it a try today.
Can't wait for that AU.... nearly all my clients who are interested in Receptor use Logic as there host...
Is RTAS support still in your plans?
Thanks again,
Al.

RTAS will be supported through the FXpansion VST to RTAS wrapper.MCal wrote:Is RTAS support still in your plans?

Ok. And the VST to RTAS wrapper works more transparently (eg you wont/don't need to do the steps you outlined) for the VST to AU. And there aren't the limits to amounts of Uniwire's you can open?
I do own this product (VST to RTAS) so will try it within 'Tools sometime...
Cheers,
Al.
