That beatbox in that track wasn't using that method.. I just recorded a myself beatboxing.. it's incorporated into the song.rockstar_not wrote:And ModulR - I see your example edit is 'Beat Box'. Are you still doing the Beat Box thing with T that I set you off on?

OK, I finally have T2 installed, and I take back my comment above - completely out of line, I'm afraid.rockstar_not wrote:When do you all have time to do these? I'm just curious. They are very entertaining to look at, but I can't say that I've ever had the temptation to change the default scheme - ever. I'm always twiddling knobs or running back and forth between the keyboard and my mic (which is across the room in a dodgy home-made vocal booth).

I think I'm going to use Mod's or the Cubase port. Those both look easy on the eyes.

Ah, by contrast, I find T2 to be gloriously beautiful compared to most other hosts.
Of course, there are some ugly-ass and some kick-ass skins that make a difference, but assuming the "Tracktion Classic" skin, I still find it nicer than, for example, Cubase or Sonar.
On the other hand, and perhaps ironically, the "Cubase" and "Sonar" skins for T2 actually ARE quite nice, as are other offerings by Mod and pHz. I still prefer "Dust" or "Cream" by Mully with minor tweaks, but that's jess me.

pHz, I'm really loving the screen shots of the "pHramboise" skin you posted in page 3 of this thread. The only problem is that I can't see a download link to get the skin. The screen shots you posted link to bigger versions of the screen shots, but there was no download link in that post. Is it possible for you to provide a download link for that skin, please?

... ben seems to have done something that affects using images as links ... if you go to the original post on page 3 and right-click to the right of the image you should get the 'save target as' option for the .zip file link above ...

Here´s a grey and clean skin (swedish style)
;
asha scheme - right click/save as
Made some more or less drastic changes to the Cream- or maybe the Cubase-scheme. Tweak the details to your liking... Enjoy!

Here's my first T2 skin! I made tweaks over several weeks while working on it until I felt comfortable with it:
