Yo People,

So let me poll you about this name "MUTON".
Does it sound good to you, do you like the name?
Or do you think there is a better name?
Here are 4 possible release names:

Which one do you like most for a music composition and performance application?
Curious for your feedback!
Cheers,

don't like Muton to mutch, it has some thing with mute in it and I don't know but to mute stuff is not the thing you want to do myking music.
I like Apallo, fits with my whole, the more buttons and lichts on my desk the better I can play space ship commander game, theme.

Muton isn't bad, Luna sounds better, because I like the moon. What about "Sputnik"? It was before Apollo. And it was a shock!

Luna sounds lovely indeed!
Muton sounds like it's a successor of mboom -> muzys, (which t is, so it's not a bad thing).
Luna has anocturnal, placid ring to it that I quite like

Not really keen on Muton - too much like mutton...
MuJay, well, it's trying to hard to attract the deejays, isn't it?
Luna - doesn't do anything much for me. It's a bit over-used, I'd say. Not original enough.
Apollo (apart from possibly being related to chicken in some languages) is a 1970s space programme to me. Exciting as it was, it's about history.
MuSeq? (pronounced Mu-seek)
It's hard to name a product without a really clear understanding of the target market and image. I guess that's why people hire marketing consultants and pay them lots of money... Branding.

Sounds too much like Muon, the company who's forum is directly before yours in the forum list. Muon has been around for a few years as well and their products such as Tau Pro are far more well known.muzycian wrote:Yo People,

Luna sounds cool though!

Muton is nasty. I love it. I don't know if i'm just tripping here but i think i recall some vicious aliens from a videogame called 'the mutons' and i mean an old school videogame, so i'm totally down with it.
