FR - Midi Editor - Midi CC editing enhancements

I'd like the Line tool in the CC area to have a super fine option (the same as you get when you hold down Ctrl and use the draw tool). At the moment it only does ramps at the 'zoom snap' level, and that is next to useless.

the only thing this line tool is any good for is volisity settings


i think because it can be used to draw a line of midi notes thay have a problem in making it smooth

hmmm... I could make a long list of specific requests, but basically midi could use lots of work and not just added features but conceptually.

Tracktion is a rather innovative application, but the midi part feels blandly generic. I guess Jules is not a midi guy. I do not find midi specific features/concepts that make me say, this is really cool like I do with other areas of the app. I can get by with it.

The thing is, if I were to get serious about talking midi, it would mean reconceiving what is there. It simply could be way better, more flexible, capable and faster.

I would like to have a midi clip library to drag and drop midi clips. It is no easy thing to say, hey I want to bring that midi bass line I made in another project last week into this project. Dropping it in should autofit to tempo and give a popup option for rootnote.

Mostly I just accept Tracktion for what I like about it and keep an eye out for something else that will truly please my midi interests. I do not think Tracktion will ever be that, and that is how it is. I still like it alot!

Further to my suggestion, even if they were to unifed the VST Autiomation and Midi CC Automation (perhaps both working in same way as the VST automation) with additional option of a relative kind of horizontal snap (which currently exists in both editors) or fixed snap whether essention the pencil is not needed all movement affect at the level of the current snap width.
