I maxed my toneport out, and I still ahvent been able to go through all the amp sims just yet. I have yet to be disappointed by the tone port, I havent ever felt like I cant get the sound I want from it...

Just over a week of february left. Is amplitube 2 likely to be shipped this week?

Hey Toneport owners.

Do the amp/Preamp models appear like a plug-in in your host, Or can you only use them on the way in?

Only on the way in, Jeff. You have to imagine the Gearbox software as being a hardware effects processor, and then you'll have the idea of how it works.

I guess Line 6 didn't want to supercede Amp Farm and its presence in the Pro Tools market or something. I wish they had the vision and foresight to have made Gearbox a plug-in (VST, preferably!) instead.

I use a splitter+DI to record a dry signal at the same time to safeguard against future re-amping needs, but for the most part I agree with the philosophy that it's best to get the right sound before tracking anyhow.

One week to go till the end of February, and IKMM website still says "AT2 Shipping in February". So do you guys think they will hold their promises and effectively ship it by the end of the month? Do you think they respect potential buyers? Are we going to be like

One week to go till the end of February, and IKMM website still says "AT2 Shipping in February". So do you guys think they will hold their promises and effectively ship it by the end of the month? Do you think they respect potential buyers? Are we going to be like or will IKMM behave like ?

We'll get the answer in just a week!

You will not see AT2 on shelfs before middle of March. That is what I got from IKMM reps.

We still haven't seen the CSR plugin anywhere and it was supposed to be shipped at the end of january.

A3ntar, CSR is shipping and has been for a few weeks. We just got our esoundz stock last week and are already shipping out new orders past the pre-orders.

I noticed that you answered A3ntar's remark about CSR, but mentioned nothing of AT2 being relesed in February, or mid March as A3ntar has mentioned. So when are we to expect AT2?

So if, as you said, CSR wasn't delayed, then we can expect AT2 to ship as announced, right? I mean, that's a stupid question. Sorry.

Why would a company announce at NAMM (06) that a product will ship in February, and then update their website accordingly, if it wasn't true? Specially after nearly a year of waiting from interested consumers? Unless IKMM wants to totally piss off potential buyers, they will do as they said. That is what a serious company would do. Right?

I see where Melodioso is coming from, and agree with his opinion. But, the track record of IKMM on the release of AT2 is horrible. It was supposed to be released in '05. I feel the worst part of this is the lack of communication that IKMM gives its valued customers. They spread release date rumors and do not follow through. And yet again, they do not post any answers/reasons as to why the product is not being released. I hope that with this discussion, and the waiting that all of us have been involved with, that AT2 is really worth all the hype...
