Hi there. I just puchased Traction 2.0 this month, when it boots up I believe it says v2.0.1.2. I got an email about the update and I tried to install v2.1.0.11 and followed the instructions. When I tried to put it in my applications folder my computer said that I do not have sufficient privileges. I am not sure what this means. Can anyone help? I am using this with a Mac iBook running OS 10.4.5, 700 MHz PowerPC G3, 640 RAM - if that helps any.
Thanks

I dont own a mac, but being based on BSD i'm sure it's a permissions issue. Try logging in as root (or whatever the equivalent is on OSX) and then installing. The problem lies in that your user account you are logged in as when installing the update doesn't have write permission or ownership over the files that need to be updated. HTH.

Yeah,
Your user account must be limited in some way. Are you logged in as an administrator? You probably need to be. If you are and its still giving you issues, you may want to try repairing permissions for your hard disk from Application>Utilities>Disk Utility.
