Just go to the folder that the project file is in (it will end in .tracktion) and double-click to open in tracktion...

Thanks guys.The prob is I tried to do that but it will only let me unpack clips 1 at a time.When I try to unpack the whole edit the clips dont show up individually at all.Just 1 big ugly blank edit screen.Although my color scheme is cool.So I guess its not an ugly blank screen.

no music for movies.And I'm confused also.For the last 2 days when I open up T2 my active projects have been there.Today the re gone.I can locate them on my hard drive but when I try to open the projects I can only get individual tracks(clips) to come up and not the whole project edit.I am having to import them 1 at a time and re-adjust them on my timeline.Anyone Understand?Holy Shnikies thats more typing then i have done in years.

Is it possible that you changed the drive letter or directory structure? Tracktion doesn't like it when it expects to find "D:\Tracktion Projects" and instead finds "E:\Tracktion Projects" or "D:\Audio Projects".
Drive letters sometimes automatically re-assign if you use removeable media (including MP3 players) and suchlike.

I'm almost convinced you're opening the individual MIDI or AUDIO clips, rather than the edit files themselves. Do this;
1) Open up Tracktion.
2) Click on the "Open Project" button
3) Browse to the folder where you keep your tune
4) Click on the file that ends in .tracktion, eg, MySong.tracktion. This should open the project with the edit and individual clips in the right hand window
5) Double click on the file that's listed as type "edit"
If that doesn't work, let us know at what point it went wrong. Cheers.

Actually, I have experienced this too. The edit is there, the files are there, but when I open the edit, it is empty. No renaming of folders, no reassigning of drive letters.
= BUG REPORT!
If this is what happened to this poor chap I don't know. I'm having a bit of a problem understanding what he tries to say...

I've experienced a whole project disappearing from the project view, associated tracks and all ! I saved it the previous session as normal, came back later after re opening T2 and it had disappeared off the radar. I had to search for it in the appropriate folder and I found it, even though T2 could not see it. I dragged and dropped it into Tracktion and voila it was back and I re saved.
