Machine ID Question

I use T2, online upgrade. I had a laptop that i ran that on, until the other day when that machine was destroyed. i ordered a new laptop from apple and it is in transit to the house.

after backing up my files from the current projects, off of the slightly damaged hdd inside the old laptop, i installed T2 on the girlfriends computer to test the edits to see if they would open and if everything was ok. fully expecting to take the software back off within minutes and just wait on the mac to get here and install it on there and get back to work.

in the keyfile area, on mymackie, i intended to erase the old machine ID, insert my girlfriend's machine as the 1st machine ID, since my old machine is not in existence anymore, but it made my girlfriends machine ID the 2nd one instead, leaving the old machine's ID in the 1st ID spot. this makes me nervous, because now both ID's are filled, even though it's not on any machine at all, at this point. T2 is waiting in the installer file, on my new mac to get here, to jump into it's new home.

my question is: since the 1st machine ID is taken up on the website by the old (now deceased) machine's number, and the second ID is now set to my girlfriend's computer, can i still get the software to work on my mac when i get it? what's going to happen? did i mess up?

can i call mackie and get all of these ID's erased off of the website and just get my mac on there so i can get to work? or am i going to have to buy another copy of T2?

ill hang myself with a short rope if i have to spend more money this week.

You should be able to just change either of the ids to the id of your new machine when it arrives.

There is a block that comes into effect if you try to change the ids too many times in a certain period (to prevent piracy obviously) but changing things a couple of times over a few days should be ok.

If there is a problem I believe it's normally sorted straight away with a call to Mackie.
