You may have to go to Windows Firewall and put your Bit T program as an Exception. That's what I did...

Just to cinfirm, Azureus is working for me now, thanks for the tip. I was trying the standard bt client and it didn't work, although it worked for other files (?).

when someone can send me the file in parts via e-amil ( smuesch @ web . de ), I will upload it to my ftp for easy download.

Dude, chill out, be patient. The download is stalled at the moment, the seeder might have stopped seeding for a while. Leave it running, and I'm sure it will come in. It's the same for everybody.

I have no idea how torrents work,

I dont know what seeding means, and evrything,

its my first time I´m using a torrent file.

So sorry when I´m a bit confused.

You are only downloading when connected to someone else who has the bits you need. It starts off downloading from one person. If that person stops seeding (uploading) for whatever reason - power cut, turn their computer off etc, then your download will pause when there's no more bits available. Just leave Azureus running, or quit and try again tomorrow, there will probably be more bits available. As long as there are people that have bits of the file you need, your computer will continue downloading.

For more info, Google is your friend.

Edit: the download is resuming now. Thanks to the original seeder, this looks nice...

Finally I was able to get the torrent file using Azureus.

The IR are so wonderfull!
I find something really great: they have really long and smooth tails
So I would like to express my gratitude to bleebsen:

first for his nice work,
second for making his work available to others,

and third to give the permission to make it avalaible again

And of course much much thanks to ohm for asking and uploading the file

Hey, I managed to download the whole file, thanks a bunch everybody and particularly to the OP for sharing what looks like an amazing set of impulses... cannot wait to play with them over the weekend

Problem is: I've left Azureus open, and it says data has been uploaded to other clients, but it doesn't seem to be seeding the file automatically once it's finished... any ideas? I can seed for a while if I can set it up correctly, no problem.

Curious... original BitTorrent client was doing nothing for me. Installed Azereus and the downloading started almost immediately.
