When I try ro run the installer i get the message 'You are not allowed to install the software in the default location on the volume (harddrive). Check with the administrator of your computer.'

Other installers ask for the password at this point but this one doesn't and I can't get past this in the installation process. I'm running 10.3.9 and I am loggin in with my regular administrator account. What do I need to do?

Ok. First things first... Have you repaired your disk permissions before installing?
