Stepchild,and stepbeater completely freeze my puter when....

.....I try to drag a file.
If I simply click the drag file button everything freezes,and I cannot get out of it unless I hit the big button on front lol.
Any idea's?

realtime priority mode switched on? Switch it off and try again.

Had a similar problem loading KarmaFx synth bank,and then switched off priority mode,and viola it was fixed!
Now I gotta go redownload the stepkids
