Ahh, and I even don't have EXSC3. So it's not 20 Euro for me.Juanjo wrote:Risky?Vibro Larynx wrote:I mean it's a little risky at the moment without knowing anything about the sampler VSTi and I don't want to buy a pig in a poke.
- It will 20 Euros only for people who got EXSC3 before March 1st (me!)
- It is from a developer who I trust and respect
- Feature description has already been posted, and I like it (a lot)
- Demo is supposed to be out next month, and you don't have to pay until it's available
Risky is not exactly the word here![]()
At least for me

Eh, OK I tried to have a look on the site, but I didn't find a way to order the sampler VSTi... Am I blind or just stupid?
A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...

Although I don't need a sampler for the moment I will keep an eye on it and am curious about it's usage compared to other samplers.Juanjo wrote:OK, point takenAlso I don't know what the full price for the new sampler will be, but I'm sure it will be fair.
B.t.w., do you know how to render individual VSTi presets in EXSC3.0?
I mean: is it possible somehow to select the loaded VST's program, before rendering to the export format? I couldn't find anything like that in the demo.

You can't order yet, because the price isn't fixed yet. You are entitled to a off price if you buy EXCS3.0 till 1st of march, if I get it correctly.DotNoir wrote:Eh, OK I tried to have a look on the site, but I didn't find a way to order the sampler VSTi... Am I blind or just stupid?

It cannot be ordered yet, it's not out.
The mind boggles.

Eh, ok. Then i misunderstood what was written on the site. So if I got it right it means that people who bought before March 1 will get it discounted when it's available? Am I still being stoopid? ;P

That's it, as far as I understand from what's posted on the site and from an email exchange I had with the dev when I bought exsc.DotNoir wrote:Eh, ok. Although neither the dev nor me are native english speakers so who knows...

Wow, I used ESC 3.01 to create samples from a VSTi and it works perfectly. I'm impressed! Also, they told me that you will be automatically eligable to buy thier sampler for 20 Euro when it comes out, it's not a pre-order.

I did not find a way to convert other than the default preset. Only if I use EnergyXT I can select another preset to convert.riley4reason wrote:Wow, I used ESC 3.01 to create samples from a VSTi and it works perfectly. I'm impressed! look under source format and solect VSTI, then it will allow you to load any VSTI and select a preset, then convert it into a sample and any supported format you want.alienmachine wrote:I did not find a way to convert other than the default preset. There is precisely my problem. When selecting and loading the VSTi I found no way to select a different preset. Maybe I'm too dumb to see itriley4reason wrote:

I selected the Preset from within the VSTi, I could switch to any bank or preset I wanted.alienmachine wrote:There is precisely my problem. When selecting and loading the VSTi I found no way to select a different preset. Maybe I'm too dumb to see itriley4reason wrote:

Now I've got it! In your case your VSTi allows you to change the preset within the VSTi itself. However, if the VSTi does not have implemented the preset loading but relies on the host to do it, the host should provide the function to change the preset which AFAIK ESC does not.
Try this VSTi and you will see what I meant ==> http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1064.html
