Is there any good chorus with alot of swirl in it. Similar to Classic Chorus that I'm using now, but better. Preferable free.
Best regards from Johan Brodd.

Even were I not a part of the team, MonstaChorus would be my bread-and-butter Chorus plug-in. It's stellar. The one mentioned by Spiggy looks great, though! I'm going to give it a try. I like new approaches to classic sounds.

Monstachorus is great, Greg. I also like CH-1 and CH-2 because they let you assign multiple chorus voices (I think up to 10!) for an incredibly dense effect. Granted, I don't usually use that many, but it's nice to have the option.

Totally. I'm psyched to hear what it sounds like, but alas I'm at work. ;)

It's a fantastic chorus - a little high in CPU,unfortunately, but pretty awesome. I'd also recommend UKMChorus2 and xhipeffects Chorus. Bass Chorus is quite good too.

I'd also second xhip chorus and CH-2. Best I've found, anyway.

DEFINATELY get all the choruses from Blue Cat. These work miracles on vocals when tweaked just right. And they are quite free.

Yeah? I don't know, I can never get that Blue Cat stuff to sound good.

You can easily overdo it with these guys, but for doubling up a little, they give pretty heavy sound. I'd say be careful with the rate and depth of these plugins....especially the rate

Neat links; I love new VST toys, although I always feel guilty for straying from Kjaerhus and Simulanalog.
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

If you keep the rate below a few hertz you will get the most 'classic' chorus sounds. If you push it further with a large depth, the effect produced sounds like a very very old tape recorder :). But it's been done on purpose in order to have the widest range of possible sounds with a chorus effect. I personaly use it every day when playing the guitar, even with high rates (but low depth and wet parameters): it can sound like a rotary speaker.
We'll try to add more presets in next versions, it' true that the ones we have today are more educational than artistical.
With the new skinning feature you can now change the response curve of the knob or slider so that you have most of the control curve below 5 hertz.

BTW Debutante, if you whish to share your presets we'd be happy to publish them on our website.

You could use the delay and reverb combined with the autopanning in FX Jockey to do that. :p

Nice one. Will try that.
