Is there any good chorus with alot of swirl in it. Similar to Classic Chorus that I'm using now, but better. Preferable free.

Monstachorus is great, Greg. I also like CH-1 and CH-2 because they let you assign multiple chorus voices (I think up to 10!) for an incredibly dense effect. Granted, I don't usually use that many, but it's nice to have the option.

It's a fantastic chorus - a little high in CPU,unfortunately, but pretty awesome. I'd also recommend UKMChorus2 and xhipeffects Chorus. Bass Chorus is quite good too.Lunch Money wrote:Totally. I'm psyched to hear what it sounds like, but alas I'm at work.

I'd also second xhip chorus and CH-2. Best I've found, anyway.

Yeah? I don't know, I can never get that Blue Cat stuff to sound good.Debutante wrote:DEFINATELY get all the choruses from Blue Cat. These work miracles on vocals when tweaked just right. And they are quite free.

You can easily overdo it with these guys, but for doubling up a little, they give pretty heavy sound. I'd say be careful with the rate and depth of these plugins....especially the ratebduffy wrote:Yeah? If you keep the rate below a few hertz you will get the most 'classic' chorus sounds. If you push it further with a large depth, the effect produced sounds like a very very old tape recorderI'd say be careful with the rate and depth of these plugins....especially the rate
We'll try to add more presets in next versions, it' true that the ones we have today are more educational than artistical.
With the new skinning feature you can now change the response curve of the knob or slider so that you have most of the control curve below 5 hertz.
BTW Debutante, if you whish to share your presets we'd be happy to publish them on our website.

You could use the delay and reverb combined with the autopanning in FX Jockey to do that. :p
