Ah, I suspected it to be a rather hot-ish guitar. My Anderson (which is my main axe) doesn't put out that much. And even if you can allways level out the input, it's still making a difference.

actually, i can't wait for AT2. yes, even though we waited so long (and will be still waiting till at least 2009) i'm really hot for it. one reason is cause i'm not statisifed with GR2. (in terms of "ordinairy" guitarsounds).

and, AT1 has VERY special aspects to me. and i mean "very" .. -> character.

Damn you could have bought yourself a real hardware sim thingy months ago. The first Amplicrude sounded like two cats fighting over the back fence. I have little faith 'Crude 2 will be any better.

After 220 pages I guess it has covered just about everything. I don't even know what I missed. Probably don't want to know.

Yeah, it is making its way through the pipe line finally. Pre-orders open, delivery this month. We ordered a ton over at esoundz. I think regardless of what anyone has said in this monster thread it IS going to be hot. Not that it counts because I am biased but I told some of the developers at IK Italy that this was my favorite effect plug-in ever made. They asked me what I thought of it and that is what I said. It's true. I mean, if I look at my hardware effects my favorite ones for classic rock are my vintage stomp boxes, amps and analog outboard rack gear. It makes sense this would be my favorite plug-in since it even has models of my own gear in it (I sent a bunch of my own personal stomp boxes to IK Italy to get modeled... I feel like a lucky Squid for that one!).

I know. Squids, shut your beak. Let's see the plug-in in our own hands already.

I do love it though. But, I guess by now you know that.

(I am entitled to be excited about it as much as anyone else though).

LOL, as if it was really possible to hijack this thread. The posts it contains is like a maze with no end. Btw, I think that you meant dogod and friends? I mean Sacha isn't posting that much anyways.

As long as the posts have "something" to do with guitars, AT2, or big fat useless cats, then it is OK with me.

Squids, a question for you. The final copy of AT2 you own, is it the retail dongle-enabled version? or is it a special dongle free version?

How is the CPU usage on it on average? ( what are your machine specs? )
