FL Studio! Ext!

eXT is the cheapest, but not always simple. Maybe try Tunafish? I tried it out and it seemed to be quite straightforward.

HI

Got an E-Mail from Cakewalk for this host:

Looks like awesome value for money, if you want instruments & FX as well.

Indeed - $39 boxware/$29 download, VST/DXI support, music notation, does ReWire, Pyro Express - not a bad deal at all.

Looks pretty decent. Is there a limit on the # of fx and VSTi? I'm dim and didn't see anything about it on the site...

HI

Doesn't look like there are any limits on FX/VSTi's ... not really a mass of info on the product.

It does look like the usual Cakewalk type of sequencer ... this will probably have a bit of a learning curve, but it appears to have everything needed to get started - that's why I mentioned it.

Hard to see exactly what the poster want's though ...

I would normally say go get XT + a selection of freebies = awesome combo; but then again as I said; who knows what the guy is into or wants, other than cheap.

Perhaps play around with freestuff and the XT demo and wait for XTV2; now that should be worth waiting for.

Reaper is very good for free
Midi is still basic,but useable.
Audio is a monster beside the lack of timestretch.

How about eXT?

Post

did anybody mention eXT yet?

Post

have you tried eXT?

Sorry, I feel like being an asshole today :D

(and no, I don't use eXT)
