I don't have any "webspace" to upload my bank to, but here it is anyway, dunno how long it'll survive there > > >

Edit : Seems like no one wants them. Suit yourselves.

This is definately the coolest freebie i've played with for a long time.
Having a hoot playing with the randomizer - found a couple of patches like 'slice the mutants' that i'm going to have to save for further tweaking.
Very minimal cpu hit, sounds nice on initial listening.
The GUI is a bit small & hard to read, but bugger that - this thing is excellent :D

Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

Yeah Oatmeal rocks :D

I'm not really a synth guy but i've always needed one that i can use when i feel i need one and i think Oatmeal is it! No need to spend any money (except perhaps a donation when I start my new job). I think the GUI is fine, the original Colour scheme was a bit hard to read but Lucky_1's skins fixed that for me.. Its not like i know what half the things do anyway, I know enough to tweak the random presets.

Change the .com to .de in your link, or the download does not work, seems like a problem with their site.

But I think it totally sounds different then synth1..so you really can't compare 'em. Oatmeal sounds more digital because of the user/Fm waveforms you can put in there, so you can get different textures then Synth1.

I don't know..but to my ears, this sounds like a virus..am I crazy? The reason being is that I was just at Guitar center checking out the virus TI. Then when I came home, saw this synth, tried it, and was getting the same kind of sounds. so..am I crazy to think this way?

Trying to make it easier to read and divide it up better in areas. Dunno if I've actually improved anything from the original, but hey! It's different ;)

Your (potential :P ) insanity has saved you a princely sum. even if it doesn't sound like a Virus (i couldn't even say what one sounds like  ) but if you are getting results that are more than adequate for you, so much so that you can forfeit getting the T1, then guitar store may lose out, but you sure as heck don't :P

WOW :-o I just had a couple of minutes to try this synth and it is Awesome! I'll go blind trying to program it but as long as Tim's making banks I won't need to. Excellent Work!

My favorite thing about Oatmeal is how much control you have over creating your own waveforms, all the tweak options like softening, FM, constraint and such. There really is a hellish amount of work put into this synth for being free!

I wonder if Fuzzpilz would be so kind as to let us know how long it took him to create this synth? I really would like to know how many manhours it took to bring this synth to life from C++ (not to mention concept and all that). Is this the first VST Fuzz has ever released? It's hard to believe he could be this good at what he does on the first shot. :p

Could Fuzzpilz be channeling Dr. Moog? :o
