Well anyone had the time to try it? I installed it yesterday didn't tried it (busy remixing a tune). Any thoughts?

Hi. I tryed it with a W98Se machine with an old sblive card, standard drivers, and it runs fine. Even, i have loaded the 24bit soundfont, from the topic "what i dont know about soundfonts", made from "SampleSmith" and the old sblive load without complain, but of course, i guess it is missing the data beyond 16 bits...

back on track,it's working on 98se.but cos i was only just getting to grips with the crappy old one,i feel all confused again with the new version.

anyone figured out any benefits yet?

making a soundfont can be from simple to very complicated, talking about the programmation of the filters. But the new version have some interesting features that help, like presets for the key range according to the kind of instrument selected, and automatic assignation of the samples. But, like the old version, you need some reading to figure how to build a soundfont if you dont know nothing.

simple one layer stuff with some looping,that's a complex as i've got.
