Nice, ezeeboogie. I notice there's a bug in the GUI code that causes the delay unit control to not show up properly - corrected here. I'm working on the proper skinning system now.

Yes, that definitely was it.Fuzzpilz wrote:Oh yes, that might cause it - the random patch is generated immediately, but not actually loaded before the next time process or processReplacing is called. Should have thought of that.

Ok, I'll look into it and see what I need to do.Fuzzpilz wrote:Nice, ezeeboogie. I notice there's a bug in the GUI code that causes the delay unit control to not show up properly - corrected here. I'm working on the proper skinning system now.
Thanks for the responses so far!

Oh, I like the looks of that even better. This has the kind of clarity, logic and order I look for in GUI design. The eye/brain can make sense of it without fatigue or getting lost from everything looking too simliar. Gimme dat one!ezeeboogie wrote:Next up Oatmeal "nord" skin...

While we're talking about skinning. Fuzzpilz, any chance the knobs could be cut out preserving opacity in the png? As it is now it flattens it resulting in a grey'ish color if there's transparency. Meaning the background needs to be about the same color around the knobs to avoid pixels that have a different color.
Not a big thing and rather silly but if it would be a simple fix it'd be a nice one for us skin'ers
Then again I just heard you say proper skinning system which sounds pretty tasty as well

I should have the "Nord" skin up tomorrow sometime.
I will have to make some subtle changes to get this one looking and working right. As Majken hinted, there are a few issues related to how the skinning works for oatmeal so it limits some choices regarding how you use colour...

Supporting alpha magic wouldn't be too simple, I'm afraid - my GUI code is all plain GDI, and I'm not sure I trust that to be fast enough. I may look into it, though. Unfortunately I'm still using PSP 6 (which annoyingly can't save PNGs with full alpha channels) for all my image manipulation needs, so I'd be grateful if you'd send me something to test it with.

It'll take some time to get it finished I guess but I've got say half or so of it done so far. Trying to make it easier to read and divide it up better in areas. Dunno if I've actually improved anything from the original, but hey! It's different
