well ... admittedly ive only helped a couple of people out tonight (quincy & headquest) ... but then theres this unpredictably offensive poster ive needed to keep an eye on ...

anyway I like this synth, not that my opinion counts for much - & the skins make it a little more comfortable to use.
So i'll try & stick on topic here now, cos' I personally think the synth deserves it.

You're projecting here I think, nobody's said anything of the sort. Most of the comments have been enthusiastic about the sound (subjective opinions, don't sweat it) but critical of the gui. Now better guis are showing up and people are happy! What's the problem?

being jealous of talent is one thing, but being jealous of a GUI is prob the saddest thing ive ever heard of. I think im the only user who actually uses the dafault skin, cos its clean and practical, and reminds me of the hardware i used to use (im kinda old compared to most users).You are right tho, if the GUI's of Orion matched their sound quality, i would prob have switched to eXT or Cubarse by now, but luckily, they dont, and im not so shallow and pathetic to think that something that looks, good sounds good (anyone tried Prophet V?)
