You solo the track not their sends, acts just like an hardware mixer, so in case you want to render it will show the result of the track without the sends printed on so you can go on, if you want the sends printed just select the proper audio bus on the audio mixdown menu.egbert wrote:It is seriously screwed. Here is a prime example: say you want to hear the (wet) contribution of a reverb on an FX bus. In Logic, you hit the solo button on that FX bus and if you have the reverb set to 100% wet you will only hear the wet sound. You can compare reverbs and fine tune patches to suit your needs.OMU wrote:And, Sascha, what's wrong about the solo function in Cubase?
In Cubase SX 3 what you hear in the same situation is the full dry mix of everything that is sending to that FX bus + the reverb. What f@$%ing use is that?. I can hear that without soloing anything!
oh fX have a disable button so if you want to listen to a single slot contribution it's possible.
don't compare logic cripled funcionalities with SX unless it's for a laugh.
If you want something really usefull in cubase is batch export, now this is an improvement i think even logic could take advantge of too.
go take a stroll on the i love logic thread or other colourfull thread around fanboy... once again the e button of some is the non sense of others... do yourself a favour and stick to logic.
