Pretty basic alto mixer and Digi 001 8/8 soundcard Image

Rhodes Mk1 73 (but needs restoring/tuning) Image

Cry baby, Vox Tonelab, Behringer tube pre all for rhodes or whatever.. I have a Line6 guitarport aswell which I run off my laptop. That has nice ampsims too for vintage vibes..

Were' recording our new EP, guitarist decided to run his guitar also through my bass amp :) Oh well, I'm pretty sure we'll get nice guitar sounds...
A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...

Ok, here's my "studio" for the road (right now located in some hotel in Vienna):
Image
(sorry for the quality...)

Features the following things (more or less from left to right):
- Edirol PCR M1. Nasty keys with that "slim" action, but hey...
- Laptop (1.86GHz Pentium M).
- Indigo I/O PCMCIA card (argh, still no multiclient drivers, but I just needed those 64 samples of latency).
- JBL "On Tour" active speakers. Don't let the size fool you! Sure, no real stereo image, but way better than other things comparable in size (unfortunately quite more expensive as well). In case I need better control I just use headphones.
- External USB keyboard (and mouse). I just hate laptop keyboards, plus I would only mess it up...
- External USB drive. Usually the one holding my sample libraries (which has a nice 3x USB hub built in), this is just the one with data I need to sort out.
- M-Audio Audiobuddy. Great for the size and price. And no, it doesn't seem to capture noise from sitting on the HDD case.
- Tom Anderson guitar.

The best thing being that, apart from the guitar, everything fits into the backpack you can see in the picture (has an extra laptop bag inside). I need 5 minutes to connect everything.
Another advance being that it's quite modular. So, I could as well just connect the Edirol and use the internal soundcard for MIDI work (via ASIO4All) through headphones.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.
