Me and the Fantom (pics I just grabbed from my myspace page)... Oldschool 1970s Spendor BC1 monitors (the BBC used to use) which sound great (i reckon - and i found them on the street!), Korg Microkorg in the background.. SOS mag as mousemat
Sun 21 inch monitor

Pretty basic alto mixer and Digi 001 8/8 soundcard
Rhodes Mk1 73 (but needs restoring/tuning)
Cry baby, Vox Tonelab, Behringer tube pre all for rhodes or whatever.. I have a Line6 guitarport aswell which I run off my laptop. That has nice ampsims too for vintage vibes..

and we get the picture

Also got a hifi 150watt 10" subwoofer under my desk for deep bass.. All on the cheap my setup is I guess. But Ive managed to pull off ok mixes. Also have a Rhode NT1A mic aswell

Ok, here's my "studio" for the road (right now located in some hotel in Vienna):

(sorry for the quality...)
Features the following things (more or less from left to right):
- Edirol PCR M1. Nasty keys with that "slim" action, but hey...
- Laptop (1.86GHz Pentium M).
- Indigo I/O PCMCIA card (argh, still no multiclient drivers, but I just needed those 64 samples of latency).
- JBL "On Tour" active speakers. Don't let the size fool you! Sure, no real stereo image, but way better than other things comparable in size (unfortunately quite more expensive as well). In case I need better control I just use headphones.
- External USB keyboard (and mouse). I just hate laptop keyboards, plus I would only mess it up...
- External USB drive. Usually the one holding my sample libraries (which has a nice 3x USB hub built in), this is just the one with data I need to sort out.
- M-Audio Audiobuddy. Great for the size and price. And no, it doesn't seem to capture noise from sitting on the HDD case.
- Tom Anderson guitar.
The best thing being that, apart from the guitar, everything fits into the backpack you can see in the picture (has an extra laptop bag inside). I need 5 minutes to connect everything.
Another advance being that it's quite modular. So, I could as well just connect the Edirol and use the internal soundcard for MIDI work (via ASIO4All) through headphones.

There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

creating outer space in a tiny space since 1999...
i probably exist in one of the smallest studio spaces...
ps...
thats me sat in my chair holding the camera at chest height and turning, as you can see im equidistance from all four surfaces. ie about 2feet away from each wall.
