I have no idea (well, i do know why it's there, but i don't know why we don't get the choice to leave it out as only the media manager uses it......which is cumbersome and useless anyway.) I'll try the new version though as soon as i'm back on my lappy.

Doh, I didn't notice the slider control? That works much better with the mouse.

Here is the new slider using the slider control!! The slider3.png which was used to build the slider is inset to the right!

I'll host these for you once file lodge is back up (the upload side of things is down for server maintenance at the moment) if you want? (or you could create your own account...it's handy as feck for things like this, and with small things like preset banks, you'll never get anywhere near your bandwidth cap.)

hehe ... yeah that was a big mistake by Sony...
possibly the stupidest "update' I've ever seen...

As someone else has posted you can disable the
SQL server stuff... but why would a company that
is selling music software think it's OK to
have SQL server installed by default?
Or even at all?
The idea is to keep background processes to a minimum.

Absolueltly crazy.... it turned me off of ACID forever!
I now actively discourage people from trying ACID because
of it...

BTW... Oatmeal is cool...

rofl. This synth is a ton of fun. I just made a random preset called "Fool the Sockzombies".

Fuzzpils you have a great sense of humor, and yes my mother knows I'm here.

The algorithm you've chosen to name the random names is very apt. I'm guessing based on the randomized settings you assign verbs and such because I noticed a common theme; phantoms are paddy, and cut/knifes are attacked, etc.

My favorite tho so far is Fool the Sockzombies... I almost shot pepsi out of my nostrils sitting here laughing and choking mid gulp.

Congrats the synth is a blast.

With 40+ pages, I can't be bothered to go back and check, but has anybody done the same for the Skins?
