Fuzzpilz: Couldn't you throw up a really really simple html page for the synth? It could list a changelog as well as presets and skins so people have somewhere to go to if they want to get the newest version, see what's been changed and grab all the goodies.

I should probably do that, yeah.

That'd make a lot of sense, yes. :D

And blasphemous at times... "The Stewing of the Lord"?!

Actually, the names are all completely randomly chosen. Sorry to disillusion you. :)

New version. I've added a few mod envelope and XY targets - which unfortunately means people will have to update their skins a little - and the LFO cutoff knobs go below 0 now (without affecting previous patches, don't worry). There'll be a proper-ish page up later.

Erm...
This synth is making me do strange things - such as venturing back into actually writing Psytrance for the first time in years, although it's just a snippet of some odd one minute in length. And of course I just had to come up with an incredibly silly name for this piece:

Exploding Psychedelic Oatmeal :hihi:

I know, it sounds a bit messy. I blame a lack of sleep and those people who have been drilling upstairs since 8 in the morning.

edit: Oh yes, the bass and first lead thingy are Oatmeal, both with no additional effects. The rest is either samples or Buzz synths and effects.

Really? It's total coincidence? That's scary man.

All my religious ones god, pope, lord, etc are organs.

All my bots are fast attack with high treble (metal).

All my monkeys are LFO or randomized XY.

It's seriously coincidence? Are you pulling my chain? Please tell me you are, because last night was scary if so. Honestly I have saved some of the presets to prove it too.

All the bee's were buzzy and distorted...

I can go on but I wont bother since I look even crazier than I already look if it isn't true. But you gotta be pulling my leg ;) (please), or my computer was tuned into a higher divine logical plane last night when naming these things. I was using MiniHost and spent no shit like 3 hours clicking random because I wanted to see the next dialog box question..

Yes I am that messed up and have that much free time (in my defense it was the wee hours and I was completely zoned out after a hard day @ work). I was laughing at the names more than I was enjoying the sounds but every once in a while I'd nail some really nice sounding preset.

 :hihi:

I'm afraid I'm serious. I suspect you got a few amusing coincidences, and then the human mind's sometimes useful, sometimes annoying tendency to focus on and reinforce its own perception of patterns kicked in. I know I've fallen victim to it myself on occasion. :)

Hahha. Yeah perhaps you are right. Still it's unique. Does the new version work with the old skin modifications (majken) ?

OT- as for the Random factor, it can go both ways:
There is no experiment without the experimenter.
There is no random, you are changing it with your consciousness, thus you see more coincidences.
--Or--
It's all random, and you are focusing more on certain things, thus you see more coincidences.
---
It's called the Schrodinger's Cat paradox. (search it if you are interested)
---
So Gryymjack, you may be both right. It's random, and you are effecting it with your consciousness...
We. We are. We are our. We are ourselves.
We are our elves!

I heard Schrödinger's wife had a dual slit.

Hi,
Nice work, I really like the bass sound, may I ask the fxp file?

If you can wait a few hours until I get home I'll fix the skin up you'll have a new version. I'm trying to restructure the interface somewhat. One idea I have is to move the pitch mod so it's located under the oscillator since that makes more sense, at least to me.. heh. I also wanna move the preset, about, skin and such buttons to the lower right corner where they can sit next to eachother instead of being spread out across the interface.

Once I'm done with the 2nd version I'll see if I can get the time to go for a bigger version of the same skin. :)
