Receptor meets ddrum 4?

I have a ddrum4 and it plays multisamples, and has positional, pressure, along with standard velocity. positional plays a different midi note samples depending on where you hit the drum. Like towards the edge verses the center. Pressure is aftertouch.

This brain plays excellent, but it's limited in the number of sounds and their length. Load in a couple of megasample kits and you're out of memory.

I'm looking to modernize, and stay modern. I need more sounds, and ability to create and play my own samples. And switch kits on the fly.

Is the Receptor a good match? Anybody actually using it for edrums?
