Yes, it's ok as a name because
-> It's very easy to say, almost pleasant
-> It's a nice musical symbol
But:
-> It's not the most original
-> It doesn't tell what it's about (that's not too bad though)
So in fact, my main resistance is because it's already used so many times!
Do a google for "luna music"...
and also already for musical products:
-> by M-Audio for a microphone
-> by Creamware for their audio card

Hmmm, pretty good, BonteBurg. Mutopia is interesting.
ARCADIA is excellent. It has a reference in the poem, "Evangeline." Beautiful poetic connotations.
It's an American and Canadian history reference, too, I guess, the French Arcadians migrated from Nova Scotia to the Louisiana area.

Muzys.
Oh wait, that's ringing a bell....

Seriously, I think the Mu<something> is running out of steam.
The parent name of MuTools is good; it sounds nice and reliable, and has an air of professionalism.
So maybe use this parent name and suffix a product name.
"MuTools Composer Free" for the free Muton
"Mutools Composer" for the paid-for version
"Mutools Studio" I can barely contain myself
you get the idea.

Hey, I've been suggesting non 'Mu' names for ages, including the lovely ARCADIA.rogerperrin wrote:Hmmm, pretty good, BonteBurg. Mutopia is interesting.

At least someone else seems to like it.
Frankly I just gave up as virtually everyone seems to prefer 'Luna'. No one was bothering replying, so nice to see that someone else has a non 'Mu' preference.
