Sorry to interrupt this important gathering of the tribes but is there any knowledge among the forumites regarding the IK webshop deal (Get AT1 and get AT2 for free) and whether Ik will contact the client about shipping AT2?

Yes.

Also, here is something else to know. If you buy AT1 full you get AmpliTube 2 for free. I've been saying this for a while and some people have caught on to the benefits of that deal. We have some AmpliTube 1s left at www.esoundz.com if you want to email elijah@esoundz.com and see if you can buy one before we're out (it is already off the main pages). Then, if you see one in a store you can pick that up. The AT2 free upgrade from AT1 full will go on for at least a couple months after AT2 is out (which is still scheduled for this month btw). So, the harder part will be finding an AT1 because once they are gone they are gone. Some stores still have them at the moment.

I was going to comment about Madonna but... decided not to.

You've still got some AT1 left? I'm surprised. Without that deal it would've been waaaay out of my price range, but as a blowout I could just barely manage it. (Ramen isn't all that bad.)

Then I'll have got AT1 for less than it usually cost, and AT1's pretty good on its own IMO. But I doubt it will be. Squids' tastes usually come close enough to my own.

What about the demos posted on the AT2 website? Do they sound good to you? Except 2 of them (out of +30), to me they have nothing special. And the high gain ones are totally horrible. That's just my opinion, but I'm curious to know what other people think about them. In fact, it's because of these demos I didn't take the "loop of faith"...

Some I like, some I don't. Until I get my paws on it I can't know for sure. I'm nothing like an expert, so my opinion won't mean anything to anyone else. *shrug* Which is how it ought to be.

i hate the audio demos, but have AT1 and love it. too many factors for audio demos that make them useless in my opinion. how were the demos made? with what guitar? with what player? with what tweaks? like meffy said, until i get my hands on it, there's no way to know for sure for me. based on my liking for AT1 though, AT2 should rock.......for me.
