@ drinelli:
I have mine configured the way that Audition installed it. I've not altered any settings in the Audio Hardware setup menu, so it looks like this:
Audio driver: Audition windows sound. (the other options available here are Creative ASIO and Wuschells ASIO4ALL.)
Sample Rate: 44,100.
Buffer Size: 2048 samples.
Release ASIO box unticked.
Default Input and Default Output: both pointing to my sound card (SB Audigy  ).

I've never changed any of these settings because it works perfectly well like this. If it aint broke, why fix it? :hihi:
Anyway, check these settings and if you're configured the same way, it HAS to be a local issue rather than an Audition one, I reckon.
Maybe a sample of the noise might assist? And, as I said before, I know the messages are coming up randomly, but before you close the message box, make a note of exactly what it says.
We're working on second-guesses here. :)

Eh I think I sorted out the problems, or found a workaround, it must have been the buffer size that was too small for the audio drivers  , for the default driver it was 2048 samples latency, I think ( sorry for being vague about the information, but I would have to turn on my second pc (Music Pc) just too give you an accurate number. The batteries for my memory sticks is not that great :hihi: but I think in this case you get the picture) I raised the sample buffer to around 3076, an the annoying stuttering was gone, unfortunely my Asio drivers settings, of 384 samples is the only setting my Cubase SX3 likes, so changing that would be a no go. But as long as the other driver works why change it, though there is some concern left, after some while I had to raise the value, is this normal ?

And Thanks helping me.

I just finished a song with AA2.0 (see below)...gotta admit one thing bothered me...I had to do a sub mix to record the guitar parts...I'm running 2.2ghz with a gig of ram and I really didn't use much effects but it sure got frustrating mixing...but I'll figure it out :)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
