Is NI's new Kore product kind of a rip off of Receptor? Obviously, its not out yet but the mounds of hype sound strangely familiar.
Anyone have any thoughts? Know the upside, downside? Scoop??
I just bought Receptor a couple weeks ago for live situations and its been really pretty killer, aside from problems getting unsupported NI plugs working(hmmmm), I totally dig it. It kind of freaks me out how cool it is.

PS- I don't work for either company, just a musician and curious observer.

I don't see them as related whatsoever. Could be i did'nt quite get the Kore thingie though but Receptor is a computer that plays VSTs and Kore is a software of some kind.

The hardware part of Kore is a controller/interface; it has no onboard processing. Your computer's still needed.
Receptor does all the processing onboard.
