The best stories are found in the threads. There are no 'back stories' at osxaudio. Oh, if you really want to know, we cuss like Deadwood in our private area.

.. on a serious note: i hope tdc is well, cause it makes me wondering why he didnt update at least that announcment page ..
i think if i'd be a site-supporter who donated some money i'd be slightly upset by now. but then again we already had this situation once before ..

Hmmm, I think it belongs to the special character of OSXA that it sometimes disappears for a while.
Cheers,

Twice before, isn't it? Makes one wonder about many things.

I think he's just busy or something - in the past, when he's posted notices about deadlines, he always goes sailing past them. In fact, when he posted that note about "up sunday night" my first thought was "ok, another two weeks yet then...".putte wrote:.. on a serious note: i hope tdc is well, cause it makes me wondering why he didnt update at least that announcment page ..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I gave 25 bucks twice over 4 or 5 years. That's 10-12 bucks a year !!!!!! Things better run perfectly for that kind of cash, right? That's a six-pack of beer right there! The site has gone down 3 or 4 times over that time.KernelG wrote:Yes, you would.putte wrote:i think if i'd be a site-supporter who donated some money i'd be slightly upset by now.![]()
Anyhow, I find the downtime worth it, if only to goat Fucken-a to waste his time and post some dribble.

For BS reasons from an apparent control freak who is in over his head. Yeah, that's annoying.
Don't be defensive, Ned. Telling me how much you donated is irrelevant to how much I did. Or how much everyone else has, to achieve what? A new cross platform forum? Who here wanted to "support" that?
I've always been positive on BBL, and have never been involved with the crazy topics. I think it has been a great info source for software and gear, and hopefully some of my posts have been useful to others. But congrats, I don't think I'm annoyed anymore. Now I'm pissed.

I just stumbled on this thread. If BBL ever returns and goes X-Platform, will I have to wade through as many "Teh Fruity Loops kiks ass" threads to find anything useful as you seem to have to on this site? I don't mind toys, just don't want them cluttering the lounge...
