Does anyone else have hanging problems running Discord 1.5 in Live5?
While I'm running audio through it it's fine, but as soon as I stop, CPU builds up and everything grinds to a halt.

I couldn't find an AudioDamage forum... is there one?

thanks all

I can confirm that. I have a 3GHz CPU, so nothing really ever grinds to a halt, but CPU usage goes from 4% to around 25% when audio is stopped. Happens in other hosts, not just Live.

V2 of Discord is on its way in the next few months, and that problem won't be there, but not sure how likely a bug fix for v1.5 will be since the new version is already in the works.

And no forum, but just send a message through their feedback form. Chris usually gets back to you in less than a day.

Chris has an informal blog here:

I've had a few problems myself here and there, but they seem to be host related. Don't care tho, cause the Audiodamage stuff rules.

I suppose I won't be using it until then :(

Yes I also confirm this bug in Cubase SX 2.2

I had this problem with Discord 1 (PC version) in a few hosts. I had a bit of an email exchange with AD about it, but the problem still persists in version 1.5. It certainly looks like a denormal problem, but IIRC AD didn't think it was. Anyhoo, inserting a dither plug-in in the audio chain before it is the solution for me.

BTW I also saw this problem with Deverb.
