Yep, woogle. Not to be confused with "wozzle", something of far terribler consequence.

Hi Jack,

Just wanted to let you know that I haven't had a chance to try this yet - I've been bouncing down my album for mixing.

Anyway, super keen to, and I'm pretty sure you'll have another sale, but have to find time to play with it first...

Nice looking plug Jack Sir!!! Not tried it yet as Im posting during a *break* writing a paper thats 50% of this year at uni :help: - If Shakespeare wasnt dead Id kill the f**ker myself....

Anyhoo - please dont get me wrong (and Ive not tried it yet) - you know Im a BIG fan of your releases...

With regards to the 'Jockey' series - what will this do for me that chaining glitch & fx jockey cant do??? I ask in all respect as i ADORE the jockeys!!!

Thanks dude!!

Could you put up some dry/wet comparisons to let this thing show its stuff?

Watto - Thanks for the interest, and best of luck towards your new album.

McKenic - I agree that Shakespear's highly overrated. IMHO his plays were simply the "soap operas" of their day. Interesting stories at times, but none of which stands highly as say... a parable. Now, Beowulf, there's something to write a paper about (given the choice anyway). :D As far as FX Lord versus the Jockey's, I'd say 1. FX Lord is much more logical to use, 2. FX Lord offers FX not found in either Jockey, 3. FX Lord has a huge dedicated modulation matrix, 4. FX Lord has a more intuitive GUI (everything's labeled), 5. FX Lord doesn't waste CPU on cycling .BMP colors, 6. FX Lord has more useful and varied presets, 7. Every FX within FX Lord is truly stereo compatible, 8. FX Lord has global clipping from front to back to halt red lining (when used correctly at least), 9. FX Lord has a more useful user's manual... 10. FX Lord just sounds "cooler" than FX Jockey. :D

JerGoertz - Actually I would but I'm on shitty-ass dial-up right now which means uploading a few multi-meg .MP3s is, let's say painful at the moment. Honestly it's faster to just download FX Lord's demo (1 megabyte), then load it in your favorite host and cycle the presets... at least in my opinion. I mean, I can make amazing sounding demos all night long... but its irrelevant if the user doesn't find the actual plug beneficial for their own source material. So... buy my babies, yeah.

:hihi:

Thanks Jack!!!

Its 'The Sonnets' I was struggeling with :hihi: All done & now its on to sociology... I agree tho, even the Libertine Lit kicks Wills ass... Must check Beowulf!!!

Will be picking this baby up once time allows!!!

Thanks again!

At the risk of sounding frivolous* the only thing that puts me off is the green lettering. Does it come in orange and/or red?

*friv·o·lous

1. not worth taking seriously: lacking in intellectual substance and not worth serious consideration.

2. silly and trivial.

I've been messing with the demo for a while now ... and i like this unit very much. The sound mangling potential is awesome. The problems i've having are the CPU hit, 30% at rest on some presets, sometimes the presets don't load properly ... i'm using Live5 with XP .. oh yeah ... some of the presets make a lot of noise when the host isn't even running (pops and clicks)
I'd be very tempted to buy FX lord, as it does so many things i really love, if it was working 100% correctly inside Live ...

All I can say is stop your sequencer and restart it and that'll clear (should) your preset problems. This is an SE thing concerning the different modules implemented, as alternate patchwork had no avail...
