Maybe it's just me, but I don't usually expect anything until I know I can get it. In this case, I've been happy with AT1 and not bothered if AT2 will be released yesterday, today or tomorrow. I sure as am glad when I get my upgrade, but I don't want it right now.

And even if you were joking it doesn't mean someone else isn't

Oh, and one more thing, bitching at some internet forum surely isn't going to help too much in getting those emails from IK (note, not from Squids, since he isn't really part of IK)

Actually, just for you lot we held off announcing a new IK/SR virtual instrument at the Messe. (Actually, I was not allowed until we finish Studiophonik

). But, instead it will be announced the month it is shipping just to show you #$W#$)*(#$!!!!! That it's not easy to predict and when you put all of your effort into a trade show you want to show what you have in store for people (in fact, that is why many people go... otherwise it would be boring if you couldn't have a glimpse into the future). Luckily here the excitement is AmpliTube 2, Ampeg SVX and Studiophonik in the IK Booth and there's really no need to announce any new products at the moment. Plenty of good things to think about that are here now! (and Ampeg I hear is not much more than a month away too... unofficially of course but it IS here fully functional and sounding great).

Actually, SR does have an announcement of 40 new products that we're making right now. However, it is a shipping announcement (well, no shipping, they are downloadable Rex Packs from www.esoundz.com ). Still... good sign of the new announcement to release initiative program.

That is a good question. What you are talking about is purchasing a digital delivery version. IK does do some digital delivery products on the IK Store. However, it is always at full price where if you buy it from an IK dealer you can get a discount. Some like the convenience of it though. Anyway, I am told that digital delivery option for AT2 should happen soon. Don't know when though.

You can always just get the upgrade from www.esoundz.com

Don't know yet. Maybe a few weeks I hear. Possibly sooner.
