He said he was waiting until Amplitube 2 was released. Well, it's been released, and still nothing. I think I'm tired of waiting. Amplitube looks pretty good. I think I'll get that one.

Seriously, if you keep trying to make something perfect it'll never get released.
yup - that's why I think it won't - even though I'm sure Midiworks himself believes otherwise...

...it's released (as they said so) but it's not available.

...otherwise it's strange, that Midiworks isn't answering anymore.
those two hypes (AT2's and Midiworks) are very parallel...

So in the end, all those delays mean nothing else than
giving you an even better amp sim.
And this new function will make a big difference for
everybody who will be using the amplifier in the end.
This new function is crashing the host when quiting it atm
under a certain situation.
We are working on a solution for this problem at the moment... :?

I wrote that I was wondering why AT2 was delayed again.
That was all, but it is true,
that I would prefer that it is realeased first. 8)

Seems like you're shooting yourself in the feet, Rene.
Lots of people like GR2. Some people seem to like AT2 allready as well.
Tough times for a newcomer. But then, you had your time...

The best thing you could do is this:

Release a version now, but take some unique feature and take it out. Then, wait for Amplitube to be released. Shortly after Amplitube is released, release a new version with that unique feature, and push that one. Its the perfect tradeoff - you'll have some time to build up a customer base, and you'll also slow down the hype after Amplitubes release if that one feature is really good, and you add several new other additions for good sound (more amp models, whatever). It'll hurt IK and help you. :D
