I'll post some comments when I get it.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

well at least there's a group of us with no emails. kind of shitty how they're handling the key though. "you can buy your own now or wait 8-10 MORE weeks and we'll send you one." sounds like a little tactic so they don't have to send that many free ones out.
ah well.

so i went out and scoured the city to find a steinberg compatible key...and found the last one here--other places could order it but would take "at least 4 weeks"--nice!
hopefully someone has some insight for me: it's a "steinberg key license control device"

hopefully it works for amplitube 2?

#1: Clearly IK has hired a staff of customer insultants who plot and scheme ways to abuse and confuse the user base.Veron wrote:Its shocking if your right.t-willy wrote: "you can buy your own now or wait 8-10 MORE weeks and we'll send you one." sounds like a little tactic so they don't have to send that many free ones out.
#2 Or maybe it takes time for a handful of people to wade through thousands of orders, match them against an upgrade list, package them up and ship them out.
Anyone who thinks there is no effort involved with setting up a targeted e-mail with an associated download with all of the associated overhead is an idiot. Don't be insulted unless the shoe fits.
I don't have my e-mail yet either.......so it is obviously #1.

haha, that's so true! Damn them for not taking care of their thousands of customers within one second after starting the shipping...SJ_Digriz wrote:#1: Clearly IK has hired a staff of customer insultants who plot and scheme ways to abuse and confuse the user base.Veron wrote:Its shocking if your right.t-willy wrote: "you can buy your own now or wait 8-10 MORE weeks and we'll send you one." sounds like a little tactic so they don't have to send that many free ones out.

Wait, it was also free bonus for people who bought AT1...

What's so difficult about sending an e-mail? And don't tell me it's the number of mails... I am taking care of a newsletter that goes out to about 2000 users, and usually, all of them have their mails in about two-three hours, even in remote parts of the world. And let me guess: No e-mails this weekend - the Internet does not work on Saturdays and Sundays in Italy...
