Sure...! If, that is, you actually wanted to know... sometimes, I find it better to not know...

If, that is, I had a dog, which I don't.... but if I did, I might not be asking......! Then again, on some occasions it can be immensely intriguing, worthy of discussing, and therefore, I would certainly expect a forum for that.

And if you could somehow tie it into OSX and Music, wouldn't that be something.......

OK, I've reviewed the available primary colors and decided that red, blue, and yellow are a tad limiting... maybe I'll go with a secondary color, like orange, purple, or green....... or maybe all three! yah!

Hmmm, it seems the KVR "u-he" forum is fast becoming the (un)official sanctuary for all of us OSXAudio refugees......

And I hope the good old site will be back soon ..

Even though, I think the most of OSXA posters are here together, this KVR is really a big screamy ad lounge ..

I don't read in kvr much, but have in the osxa dissapearance. I've noticed a good bit of mac disinformation here though, which is disheartening. egh...

yea, that's my main issue here. even when osxa was up, i still came here a lot too, but it gets a bit tiring that in almost every thread that pops up pertaining to macs, someone jumps on and tells you how much your mac sucks, and why pay for overpriced crap hardware when you can build your own system for $500...

or someone says 'macs suck' as a joke, and then the whole thread becomes off topic as the joke continues on...

don't even mention a product that happens to use a dongle... (if you've been here long enough you know what I'm talking about!)

Best part is if you try to explain why you like the mac OS, and approach to hardware better, you are immediately branded a mac zealot etc.
Lately though, what with Apple moving to Intel hardware it's getting harder for those kids to start little sandbox wars....... "uh, Apple really lied to you guys about the PPC chips, and you still buy their stuff?"

this is getting sad. not this thread, but the ridiculous wait for OSXA to come back. wonder how long it takes til i stop caring? there's not a lot out there that's similar, but maybe if it died someone would make something better. color me impatient. wish we just knew what was up with it.

No really, this is very very annoying... And really, they should of HAD the new site testing as a "TEST" link for a few weeks... then close the server down for no more than 1-2 days...

Well, maybe "NEXT" sunday... I don't get it... He doesn't owe me or anyone that doesn't donate to his site anything... However, anytime he's updated anything it seems to take over a month to get the site back up and running...

Ahhhh...how nice to see many of my fellow OSXAudio forum members patiently waiting for Big Blue Lounge to reappear. Though I'm now beginning to wonder if the site will ever return. I too have been suffering big-time withdrawal pains since early March.

I also share other's concern about TDC's stated move to "platform independence." Nothing against PCs, but I always appreciated OSXAudio's exclusive dedication to the Mac. I don't use a PC for anything having to do with creative endeavors, so I have little interest in wading through PC-centric information having to do with music creation. Guess we'll have to see how things look when (or if) the site ever resurfaces.
